littleBits is a system of modular electronics that snap together with tiny magnets for prototyping and play. The littleBits starter kit is the first kit by littleBits and contains all you need to get started within seconds. Each bit has a simple, unique function (light, sound, sensors, etc), and modules snap to make larger circuits. With a growing number of available modules, littleBits aims to put the power of engineers in the hands of artists, makers and children.

Included in the kit are 10 color coded modules (power, input, output, and wire) that snap together magnetically to create larger circuits, guaranteed to keep kids (or you) occupied for hours.

		Power The wall power is the mother of all bits. Just snap in the wall adapter that comes with it, and flip the switch and you’re ready to go!. Don’t forget , you will need a power module in every circuit.				Pulse The pulse is one of the more fun bits. Like a little heartbeat, it pulses faster or slower depending on how you adjust the white knob.
		Vibration Motor This is just like the motors in your (or your grandparents’) pagers. Crazy little vibrating motor with the sweetest little noise.				Wire Use the wire module to extend your prototype across the room. OK maybe not across the room, but across the table!
		Pressure Sensor This bit has a pressure sensitive tip. Try it with an LED after it, put your finger on it, and apply some pressure, and watch the LED get brighter and dimmer!				RGB LED A beautiful little modifiable LED. Turn the little knobs (may require a screwdriver) and change the R,G,B color of the LED for an (almost) infinite spectrum of color!
		Dimmer Dimmer is just a fancy word to say knob. Twist it, turn it and watch it affect the bits that come after it!				LED The LED bit is a tiny light that comes on when you attach it to Power.
		Button Pretty self explanatory: this is a button, clicker, tact switch, etc…				Bargraph The bargraph is like an equalizer. Get instant view of the signal going through. Combine with Power and a Pressure Sensor, and see the magic!
